Olympia’s Westside Welcomes Crumbl Cookies

Crumbl Cookies with their snappy, pink boxes are coming to Olympia’s westside in May. Franchise co-owners Sebastian Brost and De’Shaun Hollis are completing the final details for the Grand Opening. If you have yet to indulge in a Crumbl, your time has come.

“When I tasted my first Crumbl, I loved it,” says Brost. His entrepreneurial spirit powered his experiences with developing and opening Little Caesars pizza restaurants, as well as other businesses. Brost was quick to appreciate the value and opportunity with Crumbl. “I love the store design, the sleek look, and the ways Crumbl markets their business,” explains Brost. The new bakery, in what was formerly Pier 1, is the space he’d been seeking.

Each week the Crumbl menu features six amazing gourmet cookies, inspired by candies, cakes, and desserts of all kinds. The classic chocolate chip alternates weeks with milk or semi-sweet. You can count on the vanilla sugar cookie with its thick pink icing. The other four varieties are dreamed up each week by Crumbl test kitchens in Utah.

In case you need another reason to visit, the new Olympia location is a designated Test Kitchen. That means flavors are tried out in a limited number of outlets to determine if they are worthy of a national launch. “You’ll get a sneak peak,” says Brost. His other location at the Lakewood Towne Center is also a designated Test Site.

Remember the rotating selections last only a week. What starts on Monday ends on Saturday. When they’re gone, they’re gone. These delicious cookies are baked on site and packaged when you arrive.

Crumbl is expanding beyond cookies to become a more comprehensive bakery. “We are testing a family-sized toffee cake,” he adds. No doubt it melts in your mouth. Check out the individually sized pies. Mini Mondays offers smaller versions of the week’s cookie choices.

Crumbl is open every day at 8:00 a.m. It is closed on Sunday. “It is easy to order on the app. and there’s a loyalty program,” suggests Brost. You can have curbside delivery, but you might want to go into the store to smell the baking, see the cookies, and watch them gently pack everything into your own pink box.
